Sharpening Results, Restorations, and Knives for Sale
Visual Proof of Craft
Welcome to our Gallery. This section showcases examples of work performed at The Knife Guy: before-and-after shots of sharpened kitchen knives, restored hunting blades, re-profiled axes, and some of the knives we set up and sell. Our goal is to demonstrate not just sharpness, but the craftsmanship and respect for each blade’s original design.

How We Capture Results
Each image is taken under consistent lighting to show true edge reflection and blade condition. Photos include macro close-ups of bevels, edge lines, and the overall blade to illustrate both function and form. We highlight:
Edge consistency along the length of the blade.
Symmetry and condition of the bevels.
Surface finish and presence/absence of milling or unwanted scratch patterns.
What You’ll Learn
From browsing our gallery, you will learn to spot the hallmarks of a truly professional edge:
The difference between a dull, rolled edge and a freshly honed edge.
How chip repair and conservative re-profiling can restore performance without overgrinding.
How different grinds (flat, hollow, convex) appear after finishing and how finishing affects performance.

Testimonials & Stories (Visual)
In addition to images, some gallery entries include short captions and customer stories about how the sharpened blade improved their tasks — a chef describing how their prep time fell after edge restoration, or an outdoorsman recounting better field performance after a tip repair. These brief accounts add real context to the images.
